Acquiring membership in New Ross Credit Union gives you the opportunity to become involved in the ownership and control of your financial institution. As a member you have the right to vote at meetings on issues critical to your credit union.

How to become a member

Want to join, simply come in to either of our two branches and open an account. To open an account you need simply buy twenty $ 5 shares in the Credit Union at the time of opening the account or buy four $ 5 shares and then continue to pay until the twenty $ 5 shares are paid. Paying for the shares makes you more than an account holder, you are a shareholder of the Credit Union. You have the opportunity to provide input into the direction of the Credit Union by attending our Annual General Meeting, joining a committee, or becoming a member of our Board of Directors.
