Reversing a Payment

How to reverse a payment made through Online Banking

You must have access to Online Banking and Telephone Banking.  If you require access to Telephone banking, please contact either branch.

1. Verify the transaction came out through Online Banking (please note the last four digits of the payee account number and the amount of the payment for reversal reference)
2. Sign into Telephone Banking and go to option 2
3. From there go to option 3 (Bill Payments)
4. Under option 3, select option 3 again (Bill Payment Reversal)
5. Follow the steps to enter the last four digits of the payee account number of the bill you wish to reverse, as well as, the dollar amount of the payment.
6. Verify in Online Banking that the funds have been credited back to your account.
